Rajasthan Scholarship Portal 2026-27 – Important Dates, Eligibility, Benefits & How to Apply

The Department of Social Justice and Empowerment has extended the deadline for students to register their biometric attendance on the Rajasthan Scholarship Portal for the 2025–26 Post-Matric Scholarship scheme until July 31, 2026. Along with this update, the state government has introduced a simplified system for the upcoming 2026–27 academic session to make the scholarship process easier for lakhs of students. Under the new system, students will no longer need to submit separate applications. Instead, school heads will prepare and submit online proposals directly for 19 different scholarship schemes through the Shala Darpan Beneficiary Scheme Portal and Private School Portal. The deadline for completing the certification process has also been fixed as July 31, 2026.

Rajasthan Scholarship Portal 2026-27 – List of Scholarships

The Rajasthan Scholarship Portal offers various scholarship opportunities for eligible students. Some of the major scholarship schemes available through the portal are listed below:

Post-Matric & CM Scholarship, Rajasthan

Provider – Social Justice and Empowerment Department, Government of Rajasthan

Eligibility –

• The candidates must belong to SC/ST/OBC/SBC/EBC/DNT categories.
• The students must be studying in Class 11 or 12 in a recognised school.
• The annual income of the family should not exceed ₹2,50,000 (for SC/ST/SBC candidates), ₹1,00,000 (for OBC/EBC candidates), ₹2,00,000 (for DNT candidates) and ₹5,00,000 (for students studying at a nationalised institution).

Award – Maintenance allowance, cost of the study tour, reimbursement of compulsory non-refundable fees, book allowance, etc.

Rajasthan Scholarship Portal – Dr. Ambedkar Post Matric Scholarship for EBC Students, Rajasthan

Eligibility –

• The applicants must belong to economically backward classes (EBC).
• The students must be pursuing their studies at the post-secondary level.
• The annual income of the family should not exceed ₹1,00,000.
• Award – Maintenance allowance, study tour charges, reimbursement of compulsory non-refundable fees, reader charges (for blind students), book allowance and more.

Post Matric Scholarship for SBC Students, Rajasthan

Provider – Social Justice and Empowerment Department, Government of Rajasthan

Eligibility –

• The applicants must belong to the SBC (Special Backward Class) category.
• The students must be studying at the post-secondary level, i.e., from Class 11 to a PG degree.
• The annual income of the family should not exceed ₹1,08,000.
• Award – Maintenance allowance, cost of the study tour, reimbursement of compulsory non-refundable fees, book allowance, etc.

Ambedkar International Scholarship Scheme for SC Students, Rajasthan

Provider – Social Justice and Empowerment Department, Government of Rajasthan

Eligibility –

• The students must belong to the SC category.
• The applicant must be below 35 years of age.
• The annual family income should not exceed ₹6,00,000.
• The students must have completed their postgraduate studies from a recognised university with at least 55% marks.
• The students must have secured admission to a PhD programme at an overseas university in the prescribed streams:

• Social Science
• Public Administration
• Law
• Economics
• Political Science
• Anthropology

Award – Financial assistance of up to ₹25 lakh is provided under this scholarship scheme.

Rajasthan Scholarship Portal – Ambedkar Fellowship Scheme for SC Students, Rajasthan

Provider – Social Justice and Empowerment Department, Government of Rajasthan

Eligibility –

• The scheme is applicable to students belonging to the SC category.
• The applicants must not be more than 35 years of age.
• The students must have completed their postgraduate studies with a minimum of 55% marks.
• The applicants must have secured admission to a PhD programme at a recognised university in India in the prescribed streams:

• Social Science
• Public Administration
• Law
• Economics
• Political Science
• Anthropology
• The total annual family income should not exceed ₹2,50,000.

Award – ₹15,000 per month for 3 years

Rajasthan Scholarship Portal – Chief Minister’s Higher Education Scholarship Scheme, Rajasthan

Eligibility –

• The students must have completed Class 12 with a minimum of 60% marks.
• The annual family income should not exceed ₹2,50,000.
• The candidates must have a valid bank account in a nationalised bank.

Award – ₹5,000 per annum

Rajasthan Yuva Vikas Prerak Internship Program (RYVP)

Provider – Government of Rajasthan

Eligibility –

• The applicants must be between 18 and 35 years of age.
• The students must hold a postgraduate degree in Engineering, Medical, Law, or Agriculture.
• The candidates pursuing doctoral degree courses are also eligible.
• The students should have a good command of MS Office along with strong communication and presentation skills.

Award – A monthly stipend of ₹25,000 along with a communication allowance of ₹2,500 per month.

Rajasthan Scholarship Portal 2026-27 – Application Process

Step 1 – Registering with SJE

• Visit the official website of https://scholarship.rajasthan.gov.in/.
• Click on ‘Scholarship Portal’ under the Apply Online/E-Services section.
• Click on the ‘Sign-Up/Register’ button.
• The applicant will be redirected to the Rajasthan Single Sign-On page. Click on the ‘Citizen’ tab.
• Select any one of the available options – Bhamashah, Aadhaar, Facebook, Google+ or Twitter – to begin the registration process.
• Continue the registration using the selected option.
• Create the SSOID and password to complete the registration.

Step 2 – Log into SJE Account

• Visit the sign-in page of Rajasthan Single Sign-On.
• Log in using the SSOID (digital identity) and password.

Step 3 – Applying for the Scholarship

• After logging in, applicants need to update their profile by entering all the required information.
• Once the profile is updated, applicants will be directed to the user dashboard, which contains various digital services and options.
• Select the ‘Scholarships’ option to access the scholarship application.
• A dialogue box will appear asking, ‘How would you like to register yourself?’
• Select ‘Student’ and proceed with the scholarship application.
• Enter all the required details and upload the necessary supporting documents.
• Finally, submit the application. Note – Applicants should carefully verify all the information entered in the application before submitting it.

Note: Make sure that the applicants update their Bhamashah ID before applying for the scholarship. Otherwise, the scholarship application may not open.
